WhatsApp AI Setup Guide

WhatsApp integration is currently configured by the Simo Solutions admin team with your assistance. The client portal does not currently offer a self-service Meta signup flow. This guide explains how to prepare and work with our team, not a sequence of buttons available in the portal.

Step 1: Contact Us About Your Integration

Contact contact@simotechsolutions.com to request WhatsApp integration. Tell us which business and assistant account are involved and whether you already use WhatsApp for that business. We will review the channels included in your plan and the configuration needed before activation.

Setup time depends on the account, number eligibility and any Meta verification or review required. We do not promise a fixed activation time.

Step 2: Prepare Your Business Details and Number

Prepare your business name, website or address, and a phone number you control. Tell our team whether the number is already used with WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business or an existing provider. You should be able to complete any verification Meta requires for the selected number.

Do not delete an existing WhatsApp account, disconnect a working integration or move a number before its options have been reviewed. The appropriate setup or migration procedure depends on your situation and Meta’s current requirements. Our team will help you assess it before changes are made.

Step 3: Complete Meta’s Required Steps Securely

With guidance from our team, complete the business-account and phone-verification steps required by Meta using Meta’s own official interfaces. The exact screens and requirements can vary. If a login or permission request appears, check its origin and understand the access being granted before continuing.

Never send passwords, SMS or voice verification codes, recovery codes, or API access tokens through ordinary email or chat. Enter login details and verification codes yourself in Meta’s official interface. Any technical access needed by our team should use an agreed secure access arrangement, not copied secrets in a support message.

Step 4: Admin Configuration and Testing

Our team configures the WhatsApp Business Account and phone-number identifiers, authorized API access and webhook connection needed for your assistant. We enable the channel in the admin configuration when it is ready.

Together, we test an incoming customer message and the assistant’s reply before relying on the integration. We also check the intended business information and any handoff or notification features you plan to use. Meta’s messaging rules and any applicable charges remain relevant; review the terms that apply to your account.

Step 5: Manage Your Assistant in the Portal

Use the client portal to maintain business information, FAQs and documents, and manage conversations, bookings or leads included in your plan. Supported owner-notification settings are available there when the required integration is configured.

For a change of WhatsApp number, account connection or technical access, contact our team. Do not look for an embedded Meta signup popup in the portal: that workflow is not currently implemented. If messages stop arriving or replies fail, report the issue without including credentials or unnecessary customer information.
