This policy explains how Simo Solutions, available at simotechsolutions.com, processes information through its website, client portal and customer-support assistants. For questions, contact contact@simotechsolutions.com.

When you contact an assistant operated for a business, that business generally determines the purposes of processing its customer data; we provide the technical service on its behalf. Contact the business about its own practices, or contact us for help identifying the appropriate recipient of your request.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, information may include:

  • Conversation messages, channel identifiers, phone numbers, names and email addresses you provide.
  • Booking details, requests for a quote or callback, and messages passed to a human team member.
  • Business profiles, FAQs and documents supplied to configure an assistant.
  • Portal account details and password hashes, session cookies, IP addresses and operational or error logs used for authentication, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Information submitted through our website contact form.

Avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for your request, including medical details, passwords or verification codes.

2. How We Use Information and AI

We use information to answer customer questions, manage bookings and contact requests, support human handoff, provide account access, and operate and protect the service.

Replies may be generated by artificial intelligence rather than a person. To generate a reply, the configured external AI provider may receive the current message, recent conversation history, relevant business information and retrieved document excerpts. AI is used for knowledge-search embeddings. AI responses can be inaccurate; confirm important details with the business.

3. Service Providers and Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Depending on the channels and features used, information may be processed by:

  • The AI model provider configured for the assistant, for generating replies. The provider can vary between businesses and may change when a fallback model is used.
  • Meta, when WhatsApp messaging is enabled, and Telegram, when that channel or owner notifications are enabled.
  • The business and its authorized team, who can manage conversations, bookings, leads and escalations through the service.

These services may process information outside Morocco. Their locations, retention and data-use terms depend on the provider and configuration. Contact us or the business for information about the providers applicable to your interaction. This policy does not certify that any particular cross-border transfer has received regulatory approval.

4. Retention and Deletion

There is no single retention period covering all records and providers:

  • Conversation history: scheduled cleanup uses the subscription plan’s retention period, or the global retention setting when the plan does not specify one. The default global setting is 30 days, but the period applicable to a business may differ. Cleanup is scheduled, not immediate expiry at the exact deadline.
  • Bookings: a separate setting can remove older completed or cancelled bookings. Automatic booking cleanup may be disabled; active bookings are not covered by that cleanup rule.
  • Leads, contact requests, account records and business documents: these are not automatically deleted by conversation-history cleanup. Their applicable retention and deletion arrangements depend on the record, the business’s needs and instructions, and any applicable legal requirements. Ask the business or contact us for the periods applicable to you.
  • Operational records: abuse-prevention counters and diagnostic records have separate cleanup rules. Hosting logs, backups and other provider-held records may follow different schedules.

External providers retain information under their own terms and applicable agreements. We cannot promise that they erase every copy within our conversation-retention period. Deleting a conversation does not by itself delete a separate booking, lead or provider-held record.

5. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

Subject to applicable law, including Morocco’s Law 09-08 where relevant, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Send your request to the business concerned or contact@simotechsolutions.com. Indicate the business and channel involved, without sending passwords, verification codes or unnecessary sensitive documents.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and locate the records. We will assess requests concerning data we control and, where we act for a business, coordinate with that business. Where applicable, we will coordinate requests involving service providers under the relevant arrangements. We cannot guarantee direct deletion from systems outside our control; legal obligations may also limit deletion.

6. Updates and Contact

We may update this page as the service or its practices change. The revision date above identifies this version. For questions about this policy, the applicable retention settings or a data-rights request, write to contact@simotechsolutions.com.
